A US homebuilder makes a major contribution to getting Mexicans to hate us

  • U.S. builder hopes Mexicans will want homes made from shipping containers
  • Company targeting poor factory workers in Ciudad Juarez, Mexico
  • Homes are 320 square feet, around $8,000 with kitchen, bath, sleeping area
  • Home builder wants factories to offer homes as part of workers’ benefits.

From CNN.

I started my commitment to housing justice for people and communities with low incomes in 1975 in Austin's Clarksville community. These years of working side-by-side with dedicated community leaders to find solutions to housing and community development challenges have taught me some things and I’m learning new things every day.

I understand these are already being used in the Port Arthur area by a shipyard for its workers. I don’t think they have a kitchen area, or are painted so pretty (kinda look more like the picture on the left).
