		<description><![CDATA[Your post is right on the money. Texas has no consumer protection when it comes to the homebuilding industry. It allows fly by night contractors to rip people off and leave before a blink of an eye and no one cares; unless you are a state rep. and you can get your contracotr locked up in jail.
I would encourage all who read this blog to visit Homeowners for Better Building (hobb.org) and Homeowners Against Deficient Dwellings (hadd.com) to see how wide spread this is. People are going into foreclosure and bankruptcy all because they ended up with a bad house and many of our elected officlas could not care less.]]></description>
